Ship A Hoy

After three weeks back in the cold, damp, snowy weather - the time has come to escape! Monday Dec 20th we left Ottawa and the cold 22 degree F weather. That night, six hundred miles south (Fredericksburgh Virginia) we were still in 20 degree weather? How wrong is that?? Tuesday night found us a further 450 miles south in Savannah, Georgia and it was a pleasant 54 degrees. Wednesday we finally hit the warm stuff and the truck's A/C got pressed into service. Jen flies into Ft. Lauderdale tonight and Friday we board the ms. Westerdam for a Christmas cruise in the Carribean. Will update when we return .

Merry Christmas to all!!

Home (Temporarily)

We left Fort Myers and put our 5th wheel in storage in North Fort Myers on Monday, November 29 and arrived home around 10 pm on Wednesday, December 1st. The first two days of driving were very good so we drove well into the evening. The last day was rainy and windy in Virginia and Pennsylvania and then snowy and windy in New York State. Paul finally had to abandon his shorts and sandals!! Here at home it is cold but we don't have any snow that has stayed on the ground.

We will leave Ottawa on December 20 and head back to Florida with Amy to board the cruise ship on Dec. 24. Jenn will fly from Newark on Dec. 23 - hopefully the weather will cooperate. After only 2 days home we are looking forward to being warm again!!

The blog entries will resume after Jan 1st, when we pick up the Titaium and head for Texas.

Here are a few final pictures from Ft. Myers. http://picasaweb.google.com/pjkralik/Fin
