December 2013

December 2013 was an interesting month. To stay under the internal revenue's 180 day limitation, Paul headed home from Texas on December 1st and Jane followed on Dec 5th. We got there in time to join our McGowan friends for a Christmas wine and cheese evening.

It was really nice to have the time to visit with our friends - but it really was a brutally cold month with lots of snow. A white Christmas was never in jeopardy.

We even found time to go to the Billings Estate for their Christmas tea.

On Christmas Day we hosted our family, and they made the trip from Montreal and Brome, with special visitors from Newfoundland. Once we stretched our table into the living room, it made for a great family feast.

We couldn't wait for the New Year's Day as we boarded a plane to warm Ft. Lauderdale - our pathway to a Southern Caribbean cruise. Let's hope we get good and warm.
