Summer Season had ended!

On Friday the 24th we headed up to the lake to close up the Ti. We were lucky to have the fluke 30 degree celcius weather, so instead of worrying about heating the trailer fot the night - all we had to do was open the windows and let the warm air inside. What a treat to sit out on our deck in the sun, enjoying munchies and drinks.

On Saturday we did get down to serious business as we rolled up the hoses and winterized the plumbing systems. Since we are not leaving until about October 27th, two containers of RV propylene glycol are cheap insurance.

The truck has already been in to check the brakes - which surprisingly are still new after 92K. The pads are still 9mm and rotors look new. Got to love the GMC tow mode for keeping my foot off the brakes.

The Titanium will go in to Malmberg Truck & Trailer on Oct 5th to lift the driver's side where the wheels have rubbed on the floor of the trailer. After that we're good to go since the interior of the trailer was cleaned & vacuumed. We have re-stocked the dry goods so we will be ready to roll.

Time to plan our route to Fort Myers, Florida!!
