Dancing with Charo at Borderfest!!

A picture is worth a thousand words!!! Need I say more??

Borderfest is the largest and oldest, cultural, heritage and music festival in South Texas that takes place over four days and nights of fun and excitement. We started our day at Borderfest by watching the Budweiser Grand Parade.

It is our third year to visit Borderfest. We always have a great time listening to the music, gathering the freebies and enjoying the mexican food in the foodcourt area. Since the sun came out in it's full glory, we quickly lost our jackets and were able to nicely bake in the sunshine.

We didn't stay for the nighttime lighted parade since we wanted to get back to the park for the last rock n roll dance of the season. We had a fun time at the dance, but were tired after day at borderfest plus an evening of dancing. So much to do with so little time to get it all in.... Sunday will be a slow day!!!
